A backpacker’s hostel that I highly recommend is this
beautiful hostel located at the heart of Bangkok’s business district,
Sukhumvit. The location is very convenient as it is along Sukhumvit road. It is
near BTS sky train, Asok Station. It is walking distance to Terminal 21 Mall
and it is surrounded by restaurants, streets foods, and shops, massage centers, and cafes.
Tired of Khaosan road? This one's for you. |
Since it is located in the business district and not the
backpacker’s district, it is not crowded with backpackers.

When I stayed here, we were just three in a large dormitory
room.
The room is very clean, the toilet is squeaky clean, and it
is very quiet and comfortable. Their dormitory room costs 500 baht(15.53 USD)/night for
non members and 400 baht(12.43 USD)/night for members. The room has a cable TV, AC,
refrigerator, and free wifi. Upon check-in you are provided with clean bed
sheets, blanket, pillow case, towel, and toilet paper.
You'll also have a keycard to access the room and the main building. Make sure you don't lost it or you can't have your 300 baht deposit.
In each bed, there's a personal light for reading, an outlet which will be appreciated by your phone and laptop. For your valuables, you're also provided a personal locker.

They also have free water in the lobby and self-service
washing machines to remove that stinky backpacker smell in your shirt.
Breakfast is also included. You can choose between American
breakfast and Thai breakfast.
I strongly advice to get a membership card so you’ll have
discount, not only in this hostel but also in their branches in Bangkok
Chinatown and Chiang Mai. The card costs 200 baht. It's good for 3 years and is transferable.
breakfast. I chose a Thai breakfast. |
As backpackers or budget travelers, hostels/dormitories are
our ideal accommodation because
1. It is cheap.
2. It allows us to meet people, which is one of the
purposes of our travels.
So if you’re heading to Bangkok, this place is one of my
recommended accommodations.
For non-backpackers, they also have single, double, and
triple rooms.

You should try HQ Hostel in Silom. It's by far my favorite hostel in BKK. Only 350baht and so accessible to everything else. This reminds me I haven't written a review on my blog yet :)
